Primary - SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Location: St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex
  • Job Type: Term Time
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
  • Salary: £85-£90 Day Rate

There are a variety of special schools, alternative provision, and vocational free schools in East Sussex that we are working with, focused on success through personalized learning and fostering self-belief in pupils.

Day to day of the role:
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Appreciate and contribute to the benefits of a bespoke curriculum for vulnerable students.
  • Manage pupils effectively in various contexts.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, including coaching qualifications and outdoor skills development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A naturally enthusiastic, flexible, and supportive approach to education.
  • Previous experience working with young people or children.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with students.
  • A keen willingness to learn and pursue professional development.
  • Commitment to receiving appropriate training as needed for the role.
