Job Title: Experienced Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)

Salary: £85 - £100 per day

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a school in Chesterfield. This school is an Alternative Provision (AP) that caters to young people with challenging behaviours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students and a strong background in working with children in a primary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
Assist with the management of student behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one support to students as needed.
Help with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting is essential.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with students who exhibit challenging behaviours.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
