Primary School Teacher - Key Stage 1

  • Daily Rate: £130-£170 based on experience
  • Location: Outskirts of Doncaster
  • Job Type: Supply, long-term

I am currently working with a beautiful community school on the outskirts of Doncaster to support them in finding a passionate and dedicated teacher to come in on a long-term basis, currently until Christmas, within Key Stage 1. This school is part of a multi-academy trust with whom we provide personalised support. The school are nurturing and have a huge focus on student's well-being and developing their sense of identity and personality; they are dedicated to personal development and supporting new teachers so would welcome ECT’s to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for new, or experienced teachers, who are looking for a long-term position beginning in September 2024.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Adapting teaching methods to cater to the varying needs of pupils.
  • Creating a positive learning environment that promotes student well-being and development.
  • Assessing and recording students’ progress, preparing them for exams and providing feedback.
  • Collaborating with other teaching staff and contributing to the school community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teaching at the primary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Enhanced DBS check (Reed can assist with the application)
