Position: Primary Teacher (PPA and Intervention)

Key Stages: Across Key Stage 1 & 2

Start Date: September 2024

Location: Accrington Area

Veritas Education is seeking a dynamic and flexible Primary Teacher to take on the role of PPA and Intervention Teacher across Key Stage 1 & 2 in the Accrington area. This position is ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators who are dedicated to supporting students' diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons across various year groups during teachers' PPA time.
  • Provide targeted intervention support to students in Key Stage 1 & 2 to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the varying needs of students.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to plan and deliver effective lessons and interventions.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience and confidence in teaching across Key Stage 1 & 2.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
