Primary Teacher Required

Academics, in partnership with a delightful primary school in Leek, Staffordshire, are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to take on full class teacher responsibilities for a mixed Year 1/2 class. This is a full-time supply position starting in September and continuing until October half term in the first instance.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child.
• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
• Uphold the school's values and ethos, contributing to a supportive and positive school culture.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
• A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
