Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a temporary teaching position?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to fulfil a full-time, long-term contract within a small primary school located in Aldershot. This position is a temporary role for a full academic year, starting in September 2024.

The school is based within the heart of Aldershot and rated a 'Good' school by Ofsted, and pride themselves on knowing every child well, allowing them to nurture and guide them carefully in their next steps of learning. The children at the school are encouraged, praised and taught through curriculum, assembly and circle time to develop self-confidence, personal responsibility and respect for each other and the environment. The curriculum within the school is designed within a culture of equal opportunities to introduce children to new experiences, develop their talents and to open their eyes to the many possibilities that life can hold.

As the Primary Teacher, you will be the class teacher for your assigned group, providing opportunities to experiment, problem-solve, collaborate, discuss and form opinions based on the content delivered in the lesson. You will ensure the learning journey for your pupils is thorough, and adapted to pupils if needed. You will have a passion for teaching and keen to provide pupils with an education that allows them to achieve to the best of their ability, be happy and confident learners and able to continue with both their academic and personal goals.

Salary for this role is currently set at £140-210 per day, and is a full time, temporary teaching role for the academic year 24/25.

For this role, you will be/will need:

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain)

- Qualified Teacher Status with degree in relevant subject

- Passion for teaching and available five days per week for a full academic year

- Keen to work with a wonderful group of children and make their year amazing!
