Primary Teacher

• Salary: We will pay you to scale
• Location: A wonderful primary school in Salisbury
• Job Type: Full-time, temporary for the last 7 weeks of the summer term with the opportunity to go permanent starting September 2024
• Key Stage 2 preferred but not essential

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a vibrant school in Salisbury. This role is to start as soon as possible and offers the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. • Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet the curriculum and the needs of all students.
• Engage students with creative teaching methods and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff to support student learning and well-being.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching at the primary level, ideally KS2 in abundance
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
