Primary Teacher

- Location: A wonderful primary school in Salisbury
- Job Type: Full-time, temporary for the last 7 weeks of the summer term with the opportunity to go permanent starting September 2024
- Key Stage 2 preferred but not essential
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a vibrant school in Salisbury. This role is to start as soon as possible and offers the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. If you have a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a high standard of education, we would love to hear from you.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet the curriculum and the needs of all students.
- Engage students with creative teaching methods and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff to support student learning and well-being.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching at the primary level, ideally KS2 in abundance
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
