Cover People are currently recruiting for ECT’s to work at Primary schools across Stockport and South manchester for long term and day-to-day cover from September 2024. 

At Cover People, we are looking for ECTs with a passion and enthusiasm for teaching children in different settings and from different backgrounds. Working on supply gives you the opportunity to gain experience of working alongside seasoned professionals, across a multitude of different settings across Greater Manchester. This experience is something you will be able to add to your CV as you develop and hone your teaching skills ready for that dream job.

Working on supply is not just last minute day to day cover either, many of our candidates are taken on long term by schools, whilst some are even made permanent.

The candidate must have:

• Must be able to provide a teaching reference (placements are fine)
• Experience working with children
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• DBS on update register
• References for last 2 years work history
• Up to date CV with 10 year work history

All candidates are subject to standard safeguarding and employment checks including a face to face interview and DBS checks.
