Role: Primary Teacher

Location: Barking and Dagenham

Start Date: September 2024

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £36,745 - £56,959 per annum

TimePlan Education is working with successful Barking and Dagenham primary school seeking primary teachers to join their team from September 2024. There are positions in KS1 and KS2. The school is open to teachers with experience and those who are beginning their teaching career. The school would also be interested in meeting teachers who are trained in countries with comparable teaching qualifications such as New Zealand, Australia and Canada and will interview via Teams, Zoom etc.

The Primary Teacher Role:

  • Two positions available; year 1 and year 5
  • Year level will be matched to the successful candidate
  • Full teaching responsibilities including planning, delivery and assessment
  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Working as part of a wider phase supporting each other with planning and assessment

Required Skills and Qualifications for the Primary Teacher Role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary age children
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • The ability to inspire and motivate pupils
