Primary Teacher
  • Location: Luton
  • Start Date: September 2024
  • Salary: £150 - £250 per day
  • Contract: Maternity Cover (1 year fixed term)

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for a maternity cover role at a supportive primary school in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a positive impact on students and is committed to academic excellence.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver well-planned and engaging lessons that produce consistently good to outstanding results.
  • Foster a passion for learning and drive to positively impact every student.
  • Demonstrate genuine care for children’s development and progression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, sharing knowledge and skills to enhance the learning environment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents, students, governors, and the local community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (please note, sponsorship is not available for this role).
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (assistance available if required).
  • Relevant teaching qualifications - PGCE, QTS.
  • Recent teaching experience with the ability to provide professional teaching references.
  • Commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • A passion for teaching and learning.
