Primary Teacher

We are looking to recruit a passionate SEN Primary Teacher for an 'Outstanding' special needs school in Medway.

For this Primary Teacher position you will be teaching students that have Complex Needs and Learning Disabilities aged 4 - 11 years old.

Start date: September 2024 - December 2024

As teacher resignations have passed; opportunity to be considered for a permanent position January 2025 when permanent recruitment will be done.

Full time - MPS + SEN allowance

If you are a teacher wanting to pursue your career in the SEN sector and be able to:

  • Teach the primary curriculum planned and adapted for the needs and ability of the students
  • Teach small classes of about 6-8 students with varying Complex Needs and Learning Disabilities.
  • It is your duty to inspire and deliver a vibrant and fulfilling learning experience to maximise the potential of every student.
  • Full planning, assessment and evaluations of each student and working with EHCPs.
  • Working as an SEN Teacher within this 'Outstanding’ school with facilities for engaging students with learning needs
  • Work and manage many teaching assistants/other adults in the classroom for the students’ needs.

Teacher qualification with QTS is essential

  • Previous experience working with Special Educational Needs students, MLD and Autism
  • If you have worked as a primary teacher and have an interest to work predominantly with SEN students this position would be a great step into the SEN sector.
