Main Duties and Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the national curriculum standards.
• Assess and track student's progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the school's curriculum and teaching practices.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and development.
• Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and school initiatives.

Primary Teacher Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching.
