Aspire People are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in Bristol.

We are currently supporting a primary school based in Bristol that requires a Teaching Assistant to join from September 24.

The school are looking for a person/s to provide effective support to their pupils across the full primary curriculum on a long-term basis and for the right candidate this will likely be until July 25.
There are currently multiple opportunities available on both a full and part-time basis and if required may include elements of 1-1 support depending on needs.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide classroom support to teachers, including assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
* Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support and intervention.
* Help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
* Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and managing classroom resources.
* Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their requirements.
* Supervise students during break times, outings, and other activities as needed.
* Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their development and well-being.
* Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is essential within the UK.
* A genuine interest in working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Basic administrative and organizational skills.
* Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
