An inclusive Hardwicke, Gloucestershire based Primary school is ready to meet you! They have a Primary Teaching Assistant position available for a September 2024 start. This role is perfect for Primary Teaching Assistant with previous child-related roles, having a comprehensive understanding of the Primary curriculum.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will be supporting KS1 and KS2 classes, reporting any concerns to the classroom teacher. Being able to identify student struggling in the mainstream classroom setting and provide solutions in order to encourage their learning.

You must have a solid foundation of phonics, literacy and numeracy at both KS1 and KS2 level. This will be essential.

The KS1 and KS2 Teachers may ask for you support for general classroom management, with organising resource and maintaining a tidy classroom. You will gain a higher ability and growth within building repor and relationships with the Hardwicke students and parents.

  • 2 years' experience in a child-related role (desirable)

  • 1 year contract
  • £83.33 - £90 per day (term time only)
  • September 2024 start
