Randstad Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant for a Cheshire Primary School for a long-term role for September 2024. This is a full-time position and will be based in Year 3/4. Strong behaviour management and experience with trauma-informed practice is essential for this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working on 1-2-1 basis with children with SEN to support them in their learning and development journeys.
  • Supporting children to learn both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Supporting teachers to set up exciting and innovative lessons.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant experience/Childcare qualifications
  • Strong English and Maths skills
  • Knowledge of Little Wandle Phonics Programme
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Experience with adaptive practice
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
