Year 4 Class Teacher
  • Salary: Paid to Scale (£153.85 - £196.56 per day)
  • Location: Morecambe
  • Job Type: Full-time (From September 2024)

Join an OFSTED rated 'Good' primary school as a Year 4 Class Teacher. This role is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers or ECT's looking to contribute to the education of young minds in a supportive and thriving school environment. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
  • Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback to support their development.
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages pupil participation and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school life.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is desirable
  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
