Principal Acoustic Consultant - Nottingham

We are currently looking to recruit a heavily experienced Principal Acoustic Consultant to work for a world leading environmental and engineering firm, to be based near Nottingham. Joining a vibrant and successful office, our client is looking for a talented individual to lead a team of experienced professionals via technical and commercial guidance.

Taking a more business development type lead, we need an individual who is able to hit the ground running in respect of financial management of projects, covering every stage from preplanning to completion.

Requirements-
Degree qualification in Acoustics or closely related scientific field
A minimum of 5 years commercial experience within acoustics, ideally within environmental noise
Extensive project management experience
Natural team leader abilities and excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Able to work on own initiative, but with a team orientated attitude

Duties
Prepping fee proposals, bid management and budget planning.
Liaising with clients and industry contacts
Using noise modelling software
Noise and vibration monitoring, measurements and calculations
Data interpretation and collation
