This global consulting firm are looking for a Principal AI Scientist to help set up and grow their new AI Hub, involving Research and focusing on using advanced AI techniques to solve clients problems.

THE ROLE

As a Principal AI Scientist for the business you will:

• Leading commercial projects to help solve business problems for clients
• Liaise directly with and pitch to external clients to bring in new business for the AI team
• Researching and implementing AI techniques
• Mentor/coach or manage junior team members as the team grows

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong academic background to PhD level in a relevant field
• Strong commercial experience as a Data Scientist in a consultancy
• Excellent communication skills with proven experience working with either external clients or non-technical stakeholders
• Research experience from academia or working in an R&D environment
• Experience using more advanced AI methods
• Experience leading projects
• Tech: Python, SQL

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Basic salary £90,000-£1150,000
• Hybrid working - working onsite at various client locations on a weekly basis
• Bonus
• Benefits package including car allowance, pension etc

INTERVIEW PROCESS

• 3 Interviews involving a presentation
