Principal BioStatistician

Introduction:

Hybrid/Remote, 12 month Contract Opportunity

Are you a Principle/Senior statistician looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading UK based pharmaceutical company, is seeking three highly skilled and motivated individuals to join their team as a Seniorx2 and Principalx1 BioStatistician. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within the industry on a 12-month full-time remote contract.

Responsibilities:
As the Principal BioStatistician, you will be responsible for:

Designing statistical strategies and providing guidance throughout various phases of drug development
Developing study protocols
Conducting data analysis using SAS software
Interpreting results and communicating findings with cross-functional teams
Contributing towards regulatory submissions
Overseeing statistical aspects of trials
Providing mentorship and leadership to junior statisticians
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Our ideal candidate should possess:

A master's degree or higher qualification in statistics/biostatistics
Significant experience working within the clinical research/pharmaceuticals domain/Phase 3
Excellent knowledge of relevant regulations including ICH-GCP guidelines
Proficiency with programming languages such as R/SAS/Python
Strong communication skills, both written & verbal; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Experience in oncology, knowledge of endpoints, and proficiency in SAS (Candidates with a strong background in statistics in other therapy areas also considered)
Desired skills: Survival analysis, MMRM models, binary endpoints
