Principal Civil/ Structural Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Civil / Structural Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Surbiton. This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing 3 days of in-office collaboration and 2 days of remote flexibility, with bi-monthly site visits as project demands.

**About You:**
The ideal candidate will bring a robust background from a structural design consultancy environment, with proven experience in transport infrastructure projects, particularly those involving tunnels and bridge design. You must possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to interpret project requirements intuitively and liaise effectively with clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and plan infrastructure projects such as bridges, platforms, and cable lines.
- Collaborate with clients to develop accurate drawings and achieve design goals.
- Maintain active involvement in all phases of project development and execution.
- Attend site meetings and conduct on-site evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

**Qualifications:**
- Master’s Degree level in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE or IStructE).
- Strong computer literacy with experience in relevant design software.
