Principal Designer BSA

A prestigious multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Principal Designer (BSA 2022) to join their dedicated team. They will enjoy working in a hybrid fashion, with great work-life balance.

Known for its excellence in delivering projects across residential, education, commercial, industrial and healthcare sectors, this consultancy is offering an amazing opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor, Engineer or Architect an amazing opportunity to achieve a level of career progression which is not common within the industry, by moving into the emerging industry of Principal Design (BSA 2022).

Principal Designer Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 regulations and other relevant legislation
• Conduct site inspections at all construction phases
• Manage design risk ensuring building control is satisfied over a varied portfolio of clients

The Principal Designer should possess

• Knowledge of Building control and Building regulations
• A member of a professional body: CABE/MICE/RIBA
• A degree in a technical building qualification: Engineering/Civil Engineering/Architecture (preferable)
