A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Ecologist / Lead Environmental Consultant to join my client, working on a hybrid basis.

The Principal Ecologist will lead a small team of Ecologists, supporting and developing the team as they assess natural environments and wildlife, conduct surveys to understand the impact of developments on ecosystems and protected species, and create plans to minimise any negative effects. Working on a variety of projects from residential to renewable energy!

What's required of the Principal Ecologist?

• Educated to a degree level within a relevant discipline.
• CIEEM Member, FISC level 3 and up
• Protected species license if this is Bats or GCN even better!
• Experience leading / mentoring a team of Ecologists, managing various projects 
• Full UK driving license
