My client, a successful UK based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is seeking a talented Principal Structural Engineer to join their busy team in Kendal. Working as a Principal Structural Engineer you will have the opportunity to manage and lead one of their busiest teams for maritime/Coastal engineering, Industrial and Water.
It is essential for the Principal Structural Engineer to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:
- Either be chartered engineer or working towards a chartered status
- Honours degree in Structural Engineering or a relevant degree
- Experience of leading and managing large and smaller sized projects
- Experience of working in 3D design
- Effective persuading and negotiation skills
Duties and responsibilities for this Principal Structural Engineer include:
- Demonstrating your experience and providing technical guidance
- Managing the delivery of projects and ensuring all technical content is carried our correctly
- Support training and technical guidance to colleagues
- Undertake structural drawings, calculations, and reports
