Principal Project Engineer

Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk

Position Summary:

  • Oversee project timelines and manage the distribution of workloads within the project team.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation in compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to gather crucial concept information.
  • Actively participate in both internal and external meetings
  • Conduct risk management and hazard analysis activities to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Develop and implement product test methods, performing basic data analysis to verify product conformity and safety.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Substantial experience in the medical device development field
  • A degree in Bioengineering, Medical Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications and experience
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of medical device regulations (such as UKCA, MDR, FDA)
  • Proficiency in design and development risk management processes
