The buck stops with you.

As a Print Finisher, you have the last bit of responsibility. It's been through the Studio, back and forth to the client, signed off, printed and now it's sat with you.

You'll be on the ball when it comes to QC. You'll love rolling up your sleeves and getting 'stuff' done. This is a busy print business in a prime location in London, on Fenchurch Street.

Your role is integral to the business. You'll have to love being the last one to see the printed products and services before they get delivered to the client. It's a busy but close-knit team. There will be occasions where you'll be doing things you might not expect, like shadowing the studio, being in the warehouse, or maybe dropping off a delivery. That agile, variety needs to really be something you're ok with as this business and team love just getting the job done.

It's reflective in their culture. There's a really flat management structure and the director running the business is an award-winning industry icon. Yet he's still on the upward curve of his career too, so lots of ambition, lots of goals but a lot of good laughs (and hard work) along the way!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finishing Touches: Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that printed materials meet high-quality standards. This includes trimming, cutting, folding, and binding printed materials like brochures, flyers, banners, and more.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for any defects, ensure accurate colours, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
  • Machine Operation: Operate various finishing equipment such as cutters, binders, laminators, and perforators.
  • Material Handling: Handle and store raw materials, including paper, ink, and various finishing supplies. Keep a well-organized workspace.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with the printing team to ensure efficient production, assist with problem-solving, and meet production deadlines.

What we need you to have is a bit of knowledge and experience within this space. So it would be hugely beneficial, if not vital, that you have experience of the following:

Experience in print finishing.

Knowledge of various print finishing techniques and equipment.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.

Good physical stamina and dexterity for handling materials and operating machinery.
