Print Finishing Operator - Guillotines

Print Finishing Operator - Guillotines. My client based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire are looking for a Finishing Operator mostly working on guillotines . You must have previous experience working within a print finishing department utilising folders, binders and guillotines.

Role involves shift work of 6am - 1.30pm, 1.30pm - 9pm, Monday. My client would also consider a more experienced candidate at a higher salary, please submit CV for more info!!

Key Accountabilities:

• Reduction of machine down time for make-readies and breakdowns
• Reduction of running times, while still ensuring quality, as measured against quoted targets
• Reduction of waste in respect of reprints as monitored by Reprint Analysis
• To understand every job and follow lists to ensure all work completed
• To finish every job within allocated time scales and to a high quality, ensuring quality file copies separated and labelled on every job
• To box and label every job and prepare it for dispatch
• To implement maintenance tasks to plan
• To be responsible for general cleanliness of the finishing department as a part of the daily routine
• To liaise with the Finishing Supervisor to ensure work is completed as required.
