The Role

An exciting opportunity arises for a full time, experienced and technically-able Private Client Solicitor to join a thriving Private Client Team, consisting of a Head of Department, seven Associate Solicitors, a Paralegal and a training Legal Executive. The position will be based at our offices in Cheshire, with the potential of hybrid working in the future.

The role comes with responsibility for a varied and interesting caseload consisting of Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate matters. It will involve technical aspects of Private client work such as complex trusts, succession planning and experience advising on and claiming agricultural and business property relief.

Working collaboratively with support from experienced members of the team, the role offers development of your expertise. Also, the use of your legal knowledge to support more junior colleagues.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will be experienced in all aspects of Probate and Trust administration, preparation of Wills and IHT planning, including complex estates, high net worth clients, business and farming partnerships/agricultural interests.

Applications are sought from experienced Private Client Solicitors with 5 years' PQE (minimum) and preferably STEP qualified.

Managing your own case load, priorities and demonstrating great organisational skills, you will be able to work autonomously and effectively. You will be client-focussed in your approach, effective and confident in your communication with colleagues and clients alike.

Hours, Salary & Benefits

Working Hours:Monday-Friday, 36.25 hours
Holidays:33 days inclusive of bank holidays
Salary:£35,000 - £50,000
