Exciting Opportunity for an Ambitious Private Client Solicitor in Gloucestershire!

Join a prestigious law firm in Gloucestershire that is offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with a minimum of 3 years PQE and a solid background in private client work.

This role provides a welcoming and professional team environment, focusing on delivering a streamlined private client service, covering wills, lasting powers of attorney, estate and trust administration, and court of protection work.

What we are looking for:
  • 3 Years PQE
  • Preferred, but not essential: Possession of the STEP or SFE qualification.
  • Proficient in preparing Wills, with expertise in incorporating measures for asset protection and tax mitigation.
  • In-depth understanding of fundamental principles related to inheritance, capital gains, and income tax, with practical application in an estate planning context.
  • Knowledgeable in the formation, administration, and taxation of trusts, as well as the administration of estates and deeds of variation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and register Lasting Powers of Attorney, offering specialized advice for elderly clients.
  • Learn and efficiently manage workload while meeting clients’ demanding requirements.
  • Communicate effectively in writing using correct grammar and plain English.
  • Be an enthusiastic and strong team player with an excellent balance between technical ability and commercial awareness.
  • Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in IT.
