Private Client Solicitor (Wills, Trusts, LPA’s)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a well-established legal team based in Corby. This role is perfect for a technically competent professional who is confident in managing their own caseload independently and is eager to take on the challenge of growing the business and building a team within the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on a wide range of private client matters, including:
  • Estates & Administration
  • Estate & Inheritance Planning
  • Wills
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • Trusts
• Driving business growth by actively engaging in business development initiatives to expand the firm's presence in Corby and surrounding areas.
• Building and leading a team, fostering a collaborative environment and mentoring junior staff as the department grows.
• Developing strong relationships with commercial teams and clients to create new opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships.
• Delivering a high standard of client care and legal expertise, ensuring professional and efficient service at all times.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ PQE within private client law.
• Strong technical expertise in estate planning, wills, LPAs, and trusts.
• A proven track record in business development, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.
• Leadership skills and the desire to build and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating with other departments to achieve strategic goals.
