Private Client Senior Solicitor (4 years'+ PQE) – Edinburgh

Are you an experienced private client solicitor looking for your next career move? Join a highly regarded Private Client team in Edinburgh, where you’ll work with a diverse client base on a broad range of private client matters, including estate planning, tax and asset protection.

The Role:

As a Private Client Associate, you’ll advise on:

  • Wills and succession planning
  • Executry administration, including complex tax-paying estates
  • Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning, with a focus on APR & BPR reliefs
  • Trust creation, management and asset protection strategies
  • Contentious executries and trust matters
  • Powers of Attorney and Guardianships

You’ll have the opportunity to work independently while also collaborating on larger, more complex cases. The firm is looking for someone who can contribute to business development, marketing initiatives and the overall success of the team.

About You:

  • 4 years'+ PQE in private client law
  • Strong technical knowledge in trusts, estates and tax planning
  • A proactive approach to client service and business development
  • The ability to manage your own caseload while contributing to team projects
