An ambitious and career minded CTA tax advisor is sought for a private client manager role with an award winning multi office firm of chartered accountants, for a role based in their Derby office.

The role will be a mixture of compliance and advisory for high network individuals, as well as mentoring the existing junior team and collaborating with other departments in the firm.

Main duties of the role:

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns, including self-assessment tax returns, partnership tax returns, and trust tax returns.
  • Providing tailored tax planning advice to clients, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax planning.
  • Preparing and reviewing Forms P11D and working alongside our specialist Employment Tax team in the provision of employment benefits advice
  • Managing client relationships and providing excellent client service.
  • Liaising with HMRC and resolving any tax queries or issues.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and communicating these changes to clients.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
