Private Equity Associate
London
£188-224K plus excellent benefits package
To be successful in this role:
You will be an ambitious and highly motivated private equity associate with a minimum of 2 years PQE. You will have gained experience of working on multiple private equity transactions, including drafting and negotiating preliminary documentation such as Exclusivity Agreements, Heads of Terms and Management Equity Term Sheets, as well as SPAs, Disclosure Letters, Investment Agreements and Articles of Association, legal due diligence and ancillary documentation. Other requirements for this role include:
- Excellent drafting and technical skills
- Ideally, market knowledge of typical terms on private equity transactions
- Able to work effectively independently, but also be a good team worker
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (including strong presentation skills)
- An ability to get on well with clients, colleagues and support staff
- Able to work effectively under pressure and to stay calm
- Ideally have experience working in the London office of an international firm
Position summary:
Our client is looking for a Private Equity Associate to join their busy and growing London team. Associates are given great levels of responsibility within this team and have the full support of the partners. The firm is looking to grow this busy and successful team as it is an integral part of their corporate practice and wider PE capability and strategy.
Rob role and responsibilities:
As a Private Equity Associate, you will be responsible for advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies and management teams on a broad range of matters, including auction and buyout processes, majority and minority investments, bolt-ons, exits and corporate advisory work.
