Job Title: Private Wealth Dispute Solicitor

Location: Guildford

Hours: Permanent, Full time

Private Wealth Dispute Solicitor (or Legal Executive) required to join a leading regional law firm featured in The Times Best Law Firms 2024 list. The Private Wealth Disputes Team supports individuals and families in disputes over wills, trusts, and estates, aiming to achieve the best outcomes through dispute resolution or litigation. You will be working with a team that guides its clients through the process with care, sensitivity, and the support that they look for during difficult times.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of mixed private wealth dispute matters.
  • Assist the Partner and Senior Associates with complex and involved cases.
  • Take day-to-day responsibility for cases under the supervision of senior lawyers.
  • Support and develop less-experienced team members, including Trainees and Newly Qualified Solicitors.
  • Participate in marketing and business development activities.
  • Contribute to the strategic aims of the department.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Private Wealth Disputes.
  • Estimated 2-4 years of PQE, but open to those ready for an Associate role.
  • Excellent communication skills, a passion for helping clients, and creative thinking.
  • Commitment to a flexible work environment, including hybrid and alternative working patterns.
