Process engineer

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Process Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be working 4on /4off shifts within our Process/Plant. To ensure that other than planned downtime the processing plant is available and running at optimum levels at all times.

• Use continuous improvement techniques and best practice to improve machine efficiencies.
• Deliver and develop effective reactive maintenance, repairs & improvements on plant and process equipment.
• This includes pumps, pneumatic valves, homogeniser servicing, effluent testing etc
• Identify parts required for maintenance repairs and complete parts request forms
• Complete Work Orders, PPMs assigned on time and to a good standard
• Help develop and implement effective PM schedules
• Support and achieve the engineering department KPI's

What you will need to succeed:

• Electrically & Mechanical bias preferable
• Multi-skilled automation skills on process equipment or equivalent
• Excellent fault finding and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience of working in a FMCG environment
• Comfortable in autonomous decision making and team working.

• Logical approach to problem solving.
