Are you a degree qualified Process Engineer who is capable of managing multiple projects who has a knowledge of lean improvement tools? Our client, a world leading aerospace and power generation manufacturer who would be very interested in your background!

In this role you will be involved in both reactive problem-solving and long-term strategic project work. You will be part of a team that have ownership of a production process, detecting trends or non-conformity, investigating root cause and implementing corrective actions.

Hours - 8am - 4.15pm

Key Responsibilities - Process Engineer
  • Monitor process capability and understand Key Process Variables
  • Manage risk of manufacturing processes through use of PFMEAs. Use the risk ranking to prioritise improvement activities.
  • Monitor quality metrics (e.g. yield, RFT) at process level and present data at internal or customer reviews when requested. Use the data to implement improvement plans within the cell team.
  • Investigate process deviations / non-conformance through use of appropriate problem-solving techniques and provide robust containment and corrective action in order to protect the customer.
  • Provide specialist process-related input to tooling design, and to help define and improve tooling design rules.
