Process Technician PIU

You will be a key employee in the manufacturing organisation.  You will help provide the technical skill-sets necessary to manufacture high quality vaccines in a compliant, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The role is based at our Liverpool site and will report to the Production Team Leader.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, assists with the setup and operation of production equipment..
• Operates manufacturing equipment following standard procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
• Determines and corrects minor machine malfunctions.
• Enters data for process control, departmental databases and spreadsheets.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning.

Skills and experience

• English & Mathematics GCSE
• Foundation computer skills
• Relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology sterile production
• Preference given to candidates with technical training in a biotech program.

Please note this is a 12 months secondment / TFC
