Walker Cole International is currently searching for a Process Unit Expert to join a pharmaceutical company in Yorkshire.

Your duties and responsibilities as a Process Unit Expert will include:

  • Supporting in the coordination and planning of all Process Unit manufacturing activities, including logistics, production planning, project management, resourcing and budgeting.
  • Translation of site-wide objectives into tactical mid-term plans, enabling the Process Unit to meet all current and future targets.
  • Drives continuous improvement across all aspects of the Process Unit, including Production Systems (MRP2), TPM and LEAN Manufacturing Innovation, Quality, Productivity (OPEX) production and other processes enabling its performance to remain competitive.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), including the management of Out of Expectation (OOE), Out of Specification (Out of Specification (OOS) and quality critical deviations across all production processes within the Process Unit.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations, including risk assessments.
  • Contributing to successful audits and inspections.

A successful candidate for the Process Unit Expert will demonstrate the following:

  • Degree level education in a Scientific or Engineering discipline.
  • Proven practical experience as a process expert, with experience within operational quality.
