Procurement Administrator – Temp - £16.40 per hour – London/Hybrid

Global communications company is seeking an experienced Procurement Administrator to join their team.

This is a temporary role to start ASAP for an initial 6-12 moths and will pay £16.40 per hour PAYE.

This is a hybrid role and will involve working from either the City of London or Dagenham offices.

The main purpose of the Procurement Administrator will be to assist the Procurement Compliance Manager by administering various duties such as raising & receipting PO’s, assisting the AP Team & business functions with invoice queries and helping with new supplier onboarding and other relating queries regarding suppliers. Duties include:
  • Respond accordingly to email queries received into the Group Procurement email account.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the various business functions, including raising Purchase Orders as per the company process and chase payment approval for invoices from authorised persons and action PO receipts.
  • Assist with new supplier onboarding/setup.

The ideal Procurement Administrator will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
  • A strong administrator who is able to liaise and corresponded accordingly with people at all levels.
  • Experience in working in or closely with Accounts Payable departments
  • Experience of working in a purchasing or procurement function would be advantageous – training and assistance will be given & provided.
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Offices packages and able to pick up systems and processes quickly.
