Procurement Assistant / Yeovil / £14.55 per hour
As a Procurement Assistant working at our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence organisationyour expertise will drive our tooling procurement process, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and maintaining departmental manuals and processes.
- Handle SAP tooling notifications and manage equipment and material masters.
- Upload tool drawings to our SAP Document Management System.
- Resolve tooling invoice queries and manage procurement documentation.
- Support goods receipting and document management.
- Contribute to tool control management and operations consumable monitoring.
- Assist in maintaining delivery schedules and liaising with suppliers.
- Manage vendor tooling registers and asset management.
- Collaborate with logistics for seamless operations and support tooling audits.
Essential Requirements:
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Level 3 BTEC or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in data analysis.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
This is a one year temporary contract with the potential to extend.
Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week based on site in Yeovil
