Procurement Category Manager Facilities Management FM
FM Category manager required to join a diverse team with significant progression opportunities.
This role sits in a global procurement function for a well known brand and allows you to truly embrace the full end to end procurement piece. You'll be focused on, but not limited to, total cost of ownership, supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing.
Ideally you will have:
- Experience running RFI'S/RFP's and collaborating with cross functional stakeholders throughout the process
- A genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for procurement and always be looking for innovative solutions
- Developed and evolved product or service requirements
- Have pro-actively used automated sourcing processes including auctions, RFX's, and relationship management systems.
- Ideally experience in off-shoring and outsourcing
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint. Able to analyse data and present back to stakeholders clearly and concisely
- Have exceptional written and oral communication skills
- The ability to manage concurrent programmes of work
The ideal candidate will be happy to work on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, enjoy thinking creatively and providing value
