Job Title: Procurement Contracts Manager

Type: 6 Month Interim, Hybrid

Hours: 37.5hrs

Hourly Rate: £16.97 - £21.66 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a category of spend across the Estates, Facilities, Digital and Corporate Category
  • Manage key strategic contracts on the trusts' behalf
  • Ensure agreements are tendered in line with procurement regulations
  • Liaise with stakeholders
  • Lead an effective buying team
  • Identify and deliver opportunities for cost-saving
  • Review complex contract activity
  • Ensure contact details are up-to-date
  • Lead contract management with key suppliers
  • Support the management of the procurement work plan

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Prior experience working in procurement within the NHS
  • Experience working across the Estates, Facilities, Digital & Corporate categories
  • Experience with CRM and procurement systems (Atamis preferred)
  • Proficient in IT and administration
  • Familiarity with Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Team player with friendly demeanour
  • Good written and numerical communication
  • Understanding of contractual aspects
