You will be working for one of the UK's largest energy providers, with over £100 billion of annual turnover and over 10,000 employees. This is a business at the forefront of renewable energy projects all over the UK. You will be working for the renewable arm of this energy giant, supporting the continued expansion of wind and solar farms as well as battery storage projects, helping to lead the UK towards a Net Zero future.

Your new role
As a Procurement and Contracts Manager, you will be leading the e2e procurement cycle for EPC contracts covering a variety of wind, solar and battery projects across the UK. You will be responsible for pre-qualification, identification, and selection of EPC suppliers for a wide range of upcoming development projects and initiatives. You will be leading all EPC tenders, right on through to negotiation and award of contracts with value of up to £200m. You will also take the lead in ensuring all governance and compliance procedures are followed and developed, along with the ever-changing renewables landscape, to ensure compliance with a variety of regulations and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous experience working within the renewable energy sector, particularly in leading to end-to-end procurement processes for EPC contracts covering a variety of solar, wind and battery storage projects. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels internally and externally. Ideally, you will hold a relevant degree within a business-related discipline. Additionally, if you hold CIPS or RICS qualifications, this would be highly beneficial. Along with relevant experience, strong working knowledge of contract law is also required to allow you to best succeed in this role.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a base salary between £55,000 and £65,000 alongside a discretionary bonus of up to 10%. A market leading pension scheme, optional private medical and dental cover, as well as 25 days of annual leave are also part of this role. You will be working in a hybrid pattern, with 2 to 3 days a week in the office in London.
