Title: Procurement Manager - IT (12-month FTC)

Salary & Package: £50,000 - £53,000 (DOE) + bonus and additional benefits

Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic and innovativeutilities company who are making waves in the energy sector. They are looking for an experienced procurement professional to join their growing team and support them on a 12 month fixed term contract as they continue servicing people across the UK.

Reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager, they are looking for someone who has experience across a range of indirect IT categories. They are open to people from different industries with a base knowledge of the end-to-end procurement process and ideally an understanding of public or utilities regulations but this is not essential.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Mange complex procurement tenders across a range of IT categories.
  • Drive value through strategic sourcing and contract management.
  • Build relationships with suppliers, negotiating and ensuring deals align with business objectives.
  • Conduct supplier research and market analysis across the IT space.
  • Develop and lead procurement process across sourcing and operational procurement processes.

Experience & Requirements

  • Has experience of the end-to-end procurement process across the IT or other indirect categories.
  • Previous exposure to public or utilties contract regulations a bonus but not essential.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent supplier management skills.
  • Can undertake work and projects on their own initiative.
  • Ideally degrees and/or CIPS qualified.
