Procurement Contracts Manager

Location - RH19 (Hybrid & Flexible)

Salary - £16 to £21 per hour PAYE (Dependant on experience)

We are seeking a Procurement Contracts Manager for a pivotal role at a West Sussex based Hospital.  This role is vital in ensuring that procurement activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with Trust and national regulations.

Day to Day of the role :

  • Lead on sourcing, tendering, and quotation exercises using the Atamis procurement portal.
  • Manage and review complex contract activity and commercial arrangements.
  • Oversee the Trust’s contract register, ensuring details remain accurate and up to date.
  • Contribute to and support the management of the Procurement workplan.
  • Lead an effective and efficient buying team to manage the Trust’s purchasing needs.
  • Engage with stakeholders and use high-level negotiating and influencing skills to develop and improve practice.
  • Provide contract management support and advice on procurement processes to end users.

What are we looking for? 

  • Business or other relevant degree/professional qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaborative decision-making skills.
  • Experience managing tender processes and using the Atamis Procurement Portal.
  • Knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations 2015.
