Procurement Manager
An exciting new role on the back of sustained business growth for this successful Suffolk-based manufacturer. Reporting to the CEO and working as part of an established leadership team, this role will have tangible strategic responsibilities and make a significant contribution to the success of this organisation. This position is available on a hybrid working basis with flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.
Key areas of focus will include: develop and embed the procurement strategy; take ownership of driving best-practice supplier performance management; achieve annual cost reduction targets; commercial contract management; ensure the timely availability of new parts; and to play a proactive role in risk management.
To succeed in this role, you will have operated in a strategic procurement capacity in an Engineering, Manufacturing or similar organisation with experience of managing different commodity groups. With excellent negotiation skills, you will be able to demonstrate resilience and perseverance to deliver in a complex working environment with the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of attention to detail. You will have exceptional communication and relationship-building skills and be open to future opportunities for personal and career development.
