Procurement Officer

Class Technology Solutions (CTS) is a leading Education ICT solutions provider that provides consultancy, infrastructure services, network development and upgrades, and managed support services to educational establishments throughout the UK. CTS seeks to develop and bring to market innovative solutions and has introduced to the UK , the Easy4U subscription service. The FCA approved Easy4U subscription service assists schools/MATs, colleges/Universities by offering a personalized, full-service education laptop to their students, with a customized school-webshop, a self-service portal, and full-servicing and repair cover. The whole process is seamless, with parents requiring no credit-checks and the Easy4u school laptops are affordable and robust, selected specifically for the education sector.

An opportunity has risen for a bright, conscientious individual to join our Procurement team, based in Crawley, delivering first class procurement services to our customers and internal consultants. You will own our supply chain with our major vendors – Dell, Microsoft and be responsible for purchasing against a significant budget, managing the stock level, building a significant relationship with our Tier 1 distribution partner and our vendors.

In addition, you will be responsible for assisting with Order Processing across our business particularly at critical times.

Based in Crawley and reporting to the procurement manager with a dotted line to the Easy4u General Manager - our ideal candidate will to be good communicator; customer facing and understand great customer service - possessing excellent attention to detail. The candidate will need good IT knowledge and can use different systems – particularly our CRM (training will be provided) to ensure that quotes/orders that are converted effectively to sales orders, products are ordered on time and the customer is kept informed throughout.
