An opportunity to work with a flexible, friendly, family-run business in the picturesque town of Henley-on-Thames.

Our client are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their design team. Reporting to the Furniture Director, you will support with managing the Furniture Procurement process from sourcing and quotation stage through to purchase completion.

What you will do:

  • Source and purchase furniture for projects
  • Liaise between project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation
  • Attend meetings with design/project teams as required
  • Develop specifications
  • Produce pricing schedules
  • Undertake showroom visits with clients/designers
  • Arrange logistics & coordinate deliveries/installations
  • Attend larger installation projects to oversee completion
  • Quality control
  • Resolving issues
  • Ensuring complete client satisfaction
  • Update purchasing system to integrate additional supplier catalogues

What you will need:

  • 5+ years experience within a similar position
  • Experience within the design sector
  • Competent with IT, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Customer service/Client relations experience
  • Good financial acumen
  • Sage experience would be beneficial
