Procurement Specialist

£30,000 to £35,000 + Benefits

Swindon

I am exclusively working in partnership with my client a fast growing IT (SME) to recruit a Procurement Specialist.

As the Procurement Specialist you will work within the Vendor Management team, delivering services to customers, liaise with vendors, internal teams and customers.

About the job:

  • Assisting with the sourcing and onboarding of new vendors
  • Processing the order of the IT services upon receiving the requisition from the sales team.
  • Holding performance reviews and implementing continuous improvement to the procurement system
  • Collating feedback from the sales team in relation to the success of bids and channelling this feedback to the vendors supporting the bid.
  • Vetting of agreed sales - ensuring compliance between what the Company has sold to the Customer, and what it is ordering from the vendor.
  • Escalating issues to management

About you:

  • Previous purchasing or vendor management experience is essential
  • Confident communicator
  • Query resolution experience
