We are currently working with a reputable organisation with a global presence, in Mid Essex who are looking to hire a Product Assurance Engineer.

The successful appointee will be working alongside a team of highly experienced engineers, scientists and technicians and will have exposure to some of the most advanced technologies in the world. 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and advise the product assurance and compliance to requirement aspects of new projects, products and plans
  • Underpin the design, test and manufacturing readiness reviews within the project lifecycle
  • Reinforce the assembly, verification, validation and test phases of the project
  • Flow down quality requirements to the customer and supply chain
  • Facilitate customer mandated reviews
  • Support a programme of risk based internal and external audits

Skills & Experience required:

  • Experience within a Product/Quality Assurance role, preferably within space, aerospace or defence industries
  • A background in design and production for electro-mechanical parts and systems (with assemblies, electronics and software experience as an advantage)
  • Knowledge of high-reliability parts and materials
  • Degree preferred however as a minimum HNC/HND in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
