Following their major rebrand, this is an exciting time to join the team who are getting ready to revolutionise this marketplace.

We are looking for an experienced Product Development Manager (Polymer Chemistry) who enjoys leading a busy R&D team and is enthusiastic about driving innovation.

This role is key to advancing the productisation of the portfolio and will include the design, development, and scale-up, alongside the overall daily project management with cross-functional teams. You will also provide input and ideas to the R&D teams.

The role is based in Haverhill, which is easily accessible from Cambridge.

Crucially, we are looking for the following:

  • PhD in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years' industrial experience, in product development roles
  • Very strong, hands-on Polymer Chemistry background with Formulation experience
  • Proven track record of successful product launches
  • Ability to lead & inspire x-functional teams
  • Mechanical testing skills
  • Strategic, action taker
  • Analytical, problem-solver
  • Collaborative, team worker
  • Superb communicator & organiser
  • Willing to travel to meet customers on occasions

What is the package?

  • Salary of £60,000 - £75,000
  • Employee share scheme
